The rise of Industry 4.0 has intensified climate change, with 100 billion tons of CO2 needing atmospheric removal by 2100. Eyeing this goal, global communities are actively deploying initiatives to regulate pollutants for a net-zero future. These daunting factors have motivated industry verticals to adopt various decarbonization and carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) methodologies.

In this evolving landscape, CarbonCapture is a light of hope for large-scale industry professionals fighting the battle of sustainability versus development. To fight climate change, the company creates and uses advanced technology called direct air capture (DAC) to permanently remove CO2 from the air. It combines cost-efficient technology, science and human ingenuity to boost decarbonization while generating impactful CO2 offsets and credits that can be monetized.

“In pursuit of our ambitious mission to decarbonize the atmosphere, it’s imperative that we marshal the capabilities of the global industrial community,” says Adrian Corless, CEO of CarbonCapture. “That’s why our goal is to leverage economies of scale to offer the lowest priced DAC-based CO2 removal credits in the market.”

CarbonCapture’s system is affordable and easy to upgrade. It uses specialized DAC technology to store CO2 underground in Class VI wells approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Decarbonizing in large volumes, the company offers clients CO2 credits backed by a detailed third-party verification report. It also converts collected emissions into industrial products, increasing the scope of filtered CO2.

Its modular open architecture system facilitates the storage or reuse of collected CO2 using solid sorbents. They are placed in small, programmable sorbent units that work well in different weather conditions. Made for quick adaptability, this modular arrangement from CarbonCapture welcomes foreign hybrid solutions while accommodating older versions. The programmable units further mitigate management, manufacturing and project de-risking costs.
Traditional CO2-capturing facilities need to be completely rebuilt for upgrades. CarbonCapture uses small, replaceable cartridges, making upgrades easy and supporting mass production. The cartridges’ small, homogenous size and leveled placement allow easy transport and assembly through shipping containers.

Synonymous with durable scalability, CarbonCapture has successfully established long-term industrial partnerships with entities like McKinsey Sustainability and Microsoft. Exemplifying its position at the forefront of the CCUS movement is Project Bison, a Wyoming-based collaborative mission comprising Frontier Carbon Solutions and the U.S. EPA. The company plans to remove 45,500 tons of CO2 by 2030 through a $20 million agreement with multiple buyers. Funding this noble project, leading corporations like Amazon are set to leverage 100,000 tons of CO2 credits from the environment.

Such successes are driven by CarbonCapture’s highly ambitious team, which is on a mission to help industry verticals steadily reduce their CO2 footprint. Internally, the company equips its experts with in-house career development programs focused on interpersonal growth to build better decarbonization solutions.

CarbonCapture aims to improve air quality and team collaboration. It seeks to work with global partners who can help develop new carbon capture and storage products. Aiming for uninterrupted decarbonization in the following decade, it strives to connect project developers and financiers with an open architecture. In terms of accelerating modularity, the company relies on the cumulative efforts of machines and human intelligence to mass-produce DAC facilities.

Combining technological and manual power, CarbonCapture is pacing toward global delivery of decarbonization solutions. Its system is designed to work with many different DAC parts, encouraging international cooperation in designing CO2- absorbing materials. Highly adaptable, the infrastructure is encapsulated in small modules, curbing expenses on large-scale production, transportation, design iteration and deployment. Aiding cost-effective modularity, the company is eventually solidifying its focus on supporting industries with affordable carbon removal credits.
